Ghanaian striker Ernest Boateng has rejoined his former club Rahmatganj MFS in the Bangladesh Football League.
The 24-year-old has returned to the Old Dhaka top-flight side for the second round of the 2025–26 season and has been tasked to help improve their attack.
Rahmatganj have been dealing with financial difficulties, but the club still managed to bring Boateng back as they push for a strong finish to the campaign.
Head coach Kamal Babu believes the striker’s return could make a big difference, especially after the team played the first round without a natural centre-forward.
Rahmatganj finished second in the league after the first round of the season, and the club who play at Munshiganj Stadium, hope Boateng’s experience and goals will keep them in the race for the title.
