The Portuguese elite division side have reportedly landed the services of the Ghanaian defender in this ongoing winter transfer window

Portuguese Primeira Liga side Estrela da Amadora have signed Ghanaian centre-back Semeu Commey from Third-Tier side CD Trofense, a report from the Portuguese media has claimed.

The 20-year-old is believed to have cross carpet to the Estádio José Gomes campaigners from his current employers as his deal is set to expire on June 30, 2025.

Portuguese tabloid A bola has indicated that the Boavista FC U19 youth man will be penning a three-and-a-half-year contract with Estrela da Amadora upon his arrival in this January transfer window.

Commey has been an instrumental figure for CD Trofense since linking up with them in the lower division contest from Boavista during the 2023-24 football campaign.

Before sealing his transfer move, he featured in 18 games by scoring once and assisting once for the Trofa-based club in this 2024-25 Liga 3 season.

He is yet to be cap-tied by the Ghana Men's Senior National Team, the Black stars at the international level.
