The Toffees have reportedly entered the race to secure the signature of the talented centre-forward in the ongoing summer transfer window.

English Premier League campaigners Everton FC have expressed interest in signing Ghana international Antoine Semenyo this summer

According to English tabloid DailyMail, Frank Lampard's side have shown a keen interest to acquire the 22-year-old to strengthen their attacking department following the exit of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has been ruled out of action for several weeks.

Crystal Palace are also pushing for the capture of Antoine Semenyo as replacement for Christian Benteke who left the club earlier this month to continue his career in the MLS.

Bristol City are thought to want an initial £15m for Ghana international Semenyo who is one of their prized assets and has just a year left on his current contract, though the Robins have an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

Semenyo, 22, enjoyed a breakthrough season last term emerging as one of the most exciting young attackers outside of the top flight.

He scored eight times, set up 12 goals in 31 league appearances and also impressed with his work rate off the ball. He has also been linked with the likes of Nottingham Forest and Celtic.

Semenyo suffered a shin injury at the end of last season but is due to return next month

He made his debut for the Black Stars of Ghana during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
