The Toffees have reportedly made an official approach over the loan services of the promising teenage sensation  of Ghanaian heritage ahead of the closure of the January window

Premier League side Everton have tabled a bid to secure the loan deal of London-born Ghanaian youngster Tyrique George from league rivals Chelsea, a report has indicated.

The 19-year-old is believed to have attracted serious interest from a host of clubs across Europe, with ltalian outfit Napoli, German powerhouse RB Leipzig, and Premier League returnees Sunderland all being credited with his move so far in this winter window.

According to ltalian Journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Everton are now leading the pack for the signature of the Chelsea U18 star after tabling a formal bid for his initial loan deal for the remainder of the season, with the deal expected to be  made permanent upon its expiration.

Club manager David Moyes spoke about the speculation linking his side to the Ghana-prospect winger as quoted by Sky Sports: ''Yes I do [think there's a chance]," said Moyes on the possibility of making a late signing after the 1-1 draw at Brighton.

"But don't have a big headline saying he thinks it's coming because it might not and then we disappoint people. We're always better keeping you under the radar, rather than saying yes."

George has so far taken in 11 games by netting 3 and assisting 1 for the Blues across all competitions in this current 2025-26 football season.

Having played for the England national youth teams, the budding wideman is still eligible to play for Ghana, Nigeria and England at the senior level on the international stage. He was born to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother in Camden, London.
