The 20-year-old winger of Ghanaian parentage is reportedly set to join the Belgian top-tier outfit from his German elite division campaigners in this current transfer window
German-born Ghanaian youngster Charles Herrmann is nearing a transfer move to Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge from Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, per multiple reports from the German media.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund budding star, who joined the Foals on a four-and-a-half-year deal from their top division rivals in the summer of 2024, is now certain to be moved on to his current suitors before the closure of the January transfer window.
Per German outlet Sky, the transfer deal is going to be on a permanent basis, with a fee of €1 million plus bonuses set to be recouped by the German outfit over the sale of their jewel asset.
Since linking up with the Borussia-Park campaigners, the Ghana-prospect youngster has failed to live up to the huge expectations in the Bundesliga given his talent as a rising star.
He has so far figured in 16 games by scoring 2 and setting up another 3 for Borussia Mönchengladbach across all competitions in this current campaign.
Herrmann is the son of former Ghana international Charles Kwablan Akonnor and he remains eligible to play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany national youth teams.
