The talented midfielder, who recently returned from a long-time injury layoff, has reportedly sever ties with the German top-flight campaigners ahead of the summer window
Ghanaian international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh and Bundesliga club SC Freiburg have parted company with each other for the 2026/27 football season, according to an emerging report from the German media.
The 30-year-old established himself as a central figure at the Europa-Park Stadion after joining up from FC St. Pauli during the summer of 2022. However, an unfortunate recurring anterior cruciate ligament injury scuppered his high-flying start to life in his maiden Bundesliga season with SC Freiburg - a situation that kept him on the sidelines for over three seasons.

According to KICKER, Kyere would play no part for the Brazilians for the remainder of the current campaign as he has decided to seek for a new challenge elsewhere next season.
The former VfL Wolfsburg U17 star would not be short of offers from potential suitors in the summer window having returned in great fashion by starring for the SC Freiburg U23 side so far in the Regional League Southwest contest.

He is currently boasting of 18 caps with the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars and has revealed his eagerness to play in the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup to be staged in the USA, Canada and Mexico in June this year.
