The 23-year-old wing-forwad has joined up with the Spartans in an undisclosed period of contract after leaving the Accra-based Ghanaian top-flight outfit early this year

Moldovan elite division club Spartanii Sportul have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Nicholas Mensah.

The former Asante Kotoko wing-forward is joining the Liga 1 side on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Ghana Premier League club Vision FC in January 2026.

The former Dumasua Delsanco FC man was handed a one-year ban by the Ghana FA Disciplinary Committee following a complaint lodged against him by Aduana Stars for changing his name without proper authorisation prior to his transfer move to Asante Kotoko in 2023.

ln announcing the deal, the Nisporeni Central Stadium campaigners took to their official Facebook Account to confirm the capturing of the versatile Ghanaian forward: ''CFS Spartanii Sport got stronger with a football player of Ghanaian origin. 23-year-old Mensah Nicholas is a complete footballer and plays as a centre-back and right-footed aide. Nicholas, is a student of the club Asante Kotoko, playing in the local Premier League 13 matches, scoring 3 goals. Welcome, Nicholas.''
