Former Great Olympics goalkeeper Stephen Kwaku has capped a standout debut campaign with Zimbabwe Premier League side CAPS United, earning a two-year contract extension after an assured first year between the posts.

The Ghanaian shot-stopper delivered 12 clean sheets in 24 league appearances, quickly establishing himself as one of the club’s most reliable safest pair of hands.

His consistency between the posts impressed the Harare-based club’s hierarchy, prompting them to hand him a long-term deal as they build toward the new season.

Kwaku joined the Harare-based side ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and has since become a cornerstone of their goalkeeping setup, drawing praise from teammates and supporters for his match-winning interventions and steady presence.

The new deal will keep the 28-year-old at the Green Machine until 2027.
