The nimble-footed winger has sealed a sensational move to the Georgian top-flight league club on a free transfer.

Former Asante Kotoko winger Joseph Amoako has completed his switch to Georgian side FC Samtredia in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old signed a two-year contract with a year option of renewal with the Erosi Manjgaladze Stadium outfit after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today.

He had his last stint at United Arab Emirates second-tier side TFA Dubai after leaving Asante Kotoko by mutual termination.

Amoako left Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko by mutual contract termination after a season-long loan spell at Swedish club Helsingborgs IF.

He made nine appearances for Helsingborgs IF in the Allsvenskan before the team suffered relegation after the 2022–23 season's campaign.

Amoako is yet to earn a call-up to play for Ghana at any level.
