Former Asante Kotoko right-back, Augustine Agyapong has earned a trial opportunity at Serbian first division side RFK Graficar Beograd and has been training with the club for weeks now.
The 20-year-old is known for his time with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko where he joined on a four-year deal from lower-tier side Delsamaco FC prior to the commencement of the summer of 2021 but unfortunately had his contract terminated just at the end of last season.
Agyapong, was a standout performer for Asante Kotoko in the 2021/22 campaign when the club won it 24th league title having scored and created assist one each in 13 matches.
The lanky lateral has been unattached since he was released in the last transfer window but has finally gotten a trial opportunity at Graficar Beograd where he is hoping to have an impressive one to earn himself a permanent stay at the club subsequently.
He's been training with them for weeks now and has even featured in some of their games giving out his all in every opportunity that comes his way as he looks to catch the good eyes of manager Marko Nedic.
Augustine Agyapong was part of the Black Satellites squad at the 2022 WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations in Niger and also in the Maurice Revello Tournament in France the same year.
OFK Graficar Beograd are currently occupying the sixth spot on the Serbia Prva Liga table with 25 points after sixteen matches and will play as guests to Sloven Ruma next this Saturday, November 30, 2024.
