German-born Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer has ended his four-year stay at SV Darmstadt 98 after helping them secure German Bundesliga promotion.

Pfeiffer, who was born to Ghanaian parents in Hamburg, played an instrumental role in SV Darmstadt 98's top-flight league promotion at the just ended season.

The 23-year-old is rumoured to have reached an agreement with a Bundesliga outfit after rejecting a two-year contract extension offered by SV Darmstadt.

The lanky defender made 24 Bundesliga II appearances for SV Darmstadt, scoring four goals with an assist to his credit.

Pfeiffer joined SV Darmstadt 98 in 2019 from his boyhood club Hamburger SV for a fee around the region of €150,000.

He made 85 appearances in all competitions for SV Darmstadt 98 during his four-year stay at the club and managed to score six goals.

Pfeiffer, who is one of the highly-rated centre-backs in Germany, has already switched his international allegiance from Germany to play for Ghana.

He is yet to earn a call-up under Coach Chris Hughton to feature for the Black Stars of Ghana.
