Ghanaian young winger Christopher Bonsu Baah scored his first-ever goal for Sarpsborg 08 in their massive win over Aalesunds FK in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Monday evening.

Aalesunds FK suffered a 3-1 away defeat to Sarpsborg in their match-week 8 encounter at the Sarpsborg Stadium.

 
The 18-year-old opened the floodgate with a fine strike in the 19th minute to give the hosts the lead.
 
Later in the 36th minute, Joachim Soltvedt also got his name on the scoresheet to double the lead for Sarpsborg.
 
Former Right to Dream Academy graduate Isaac Atanga on the 39th minute reduced the deficit for Aalesunds FK, making it 3-1 for the first half of the game.
 
A second-half strike from Bjorn Utvik in the 68th minute sealed a 3-1 win for Sarpsborg at the end of the 90 minutes
 
Bonsu Baah has made eight appearances for Sarpsborg 08 since his arrival at the club in March 2023.
 
He joined the Norwegian Eliteserien outfit from Ghanaian lower-tier side Shooting Stars until December 2026 for an undisclosed fee.
