The Blues have secured the loan signing of the budding talented midfielder after a successful three-week trial.
Norwegian second-tier league side Stabæk Fotball have announced the acquisition of Ghanaian midfielder Abu Bawa on a season-long loan deal in the ongoing winter transfer window.
The 20-year-old has joined the Nadderud Stadion outfit on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy from Ghanaian lower-tier side Attram Devisser Soccer Academy.
“It has always been my dream to sign a professional contract, so I am very grateful to Stabæk for giving me this opportunity,” elated Abu Bawa said after signing the contract.
Abu Bawa was handed the loan contract after impressing the technical handlers of Stabæk Fotball led by American legendary coach Bob Bradley.
The diminutive box-to-box midfielder is a good passer, who dazzles in the middle and capable of scoring from long range.
Abu Bawa is yet to represent Ghana at any level.
