Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal that Real Betis have tabled an offer around the region of €4 million to land the 21-year-old centre-back to bolster their back line for the next season's campaign.
Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini is a big admirer of the Ghanaian international, and he has seconded the scouting report on him, demanding his imminent capture from potential suitors.
Adjetey has been a top performer in the Swiss Super League with FC Basel since arriving at the club in August 2022 from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.
Initially, the former Great Olympics defender was signed by FC Basel on a three-year deal after a successful three-week trial period, and he was handed a contract extension to keep him at the club until the summer of 2028.
He has 26 appearances in all competitions for FC Basel in the ongoing campaign and has already been linked with a move away from St. Jakob Park.
Adjetey, who featured seven minutes in Ghana's 3-0 win over Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers during March's international break, has been capped twice for the Black Stars of Ghana since making his debut last year.
