The Blue Waves have identified the Fenerbahçe centre-back in an effort to strengthen their defence ahead of the 2025–26 season's campaign.

Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al Hilal are considering a move to secure the signature of Ghana defender Alexander Djiku in the ongoing summer transfer window, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.

Djiku has been linked with a move away from the Turkish club after falling out of the defensive pecking order of Jose Mourinho, and he has been warming the bench in their recent 2025–26 UEFA Champions League playoffs against Feyenoord.

Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal that Al Hilal have prepared a bid worth €5.5 million plus add-ons to Fenerbahçe for the possible acquisition of the 31-year-old to bolster their backline options.

The former RC Strasbourg centre-back has also been attracting interest from French Ligue 1 clubs Lille, Nice, and Toulouse, as he is expected to leave Turkey this summer for a move elsewhere.

Djiku managed to feature in 38 games for Fenerbahçe across all competitions during the 2024-25 campaign.

He currently boasts of 33 caps with the senior national team of Ghana on the international stage, with two goals to his credit.
