Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has said earlier attacking threats from his teammate Abdul Fatawu Issahaku caused problems for Birmingham City in their away win on Monday evening.
Fatawu Issahaku,19, provided two assists to aid the Foxes to record a 3-2 victory over Birmingham City to open their lead on the top of the English Championship log
Speaking in a post-game interview with Leicester’s media channel, Dewsbury-Hall was full of praise for the Black Star winger and two-goal hero Stephy Mavididi.
“It’s a great ball by Abdul [Fatawu]… They (Mavididi and Fatawu) were very good tonight. From minute one, they were causing problems, and they got their rewards with their goal contributions tonight so I’m very proud of them because they work hard.
“They have great flair, but they also work hard for the team.”
Fatawu Issahaku, who is on a season-long loan deal at Leicester City from Portugueseide Sporting CP, has notched up two goals and five assists in 19 game outings.
