The German elite division club are closing in on securing the signature of the 26-year-old wideman of Ghanaian descent from the second tier outfit in this January window
Bundesliga side FC Heidenheim are set to sign German-born Ghanaian winger Christian Conteh from 2. Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig, an emerging report has indicated from the German media.
With the Voith Arena campaigners currently struggling in the current top-flight, those in charge of affairs are now feverishly looking forward to augmenting their forward line options with the signing of the former Feyenoord man in their bid to safeguard their Premiership status at the end of the season.
According to a report by Sky Germany, both clubs have agreed a deal for the transfer move of the former FC St. Pauli U19 star, with FC Heidenheim set to pay €1.5 million including bonuses to his current employers.
The report further claimed that the Ghana-prospect winger would be penning a contract that would take him through to 2029 should he pass his mandatory medical examinations on Monday.
If Conteh completes the move this coming week, he will be reuniting with his sibling Sirlord Conteh who has been with them for the past one-and-a-half year at the Voith Arena.
He has so far played in 18 games by scoring 5 times and setting up 3 across all competitions for Eintracht Braunschweig in this 2025/26 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Hamburg-born forward remains fit to switch international allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage.
