The 35-year-old experienced attacker, whose career has been eclipsed by controversies, has yet again sealed another move to the Gulf region by linking up with the lower division side this winter 

CONTROVERSIAL ltalian-Ghanaian forward Mario Balotelli has completed a move to UAE side Al-Ittifaq FC after leaving Serie A outfit Genoa during the summer of 2025.

The veteran forward has reportedly agreed a deal with the UAE First Division club and an official confirmation over the terms is expected to be made soon this weekend as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The former lnter Milan ace has already touched down in the Gulf Region and is current with his new employers as he is set to begin life in the desert occupied nation on this planet.

Balotelli is joining the Dubai-based club on the back of a vast experience in the sporting discipline having taken in spells with Liverpool, Manchester City, lnter Milan, AC MIlan, Nice, Marseille, Genoa, Brescia, Adana Demirspor, FC Sion, and Monza so far in his footballing career.

He has 36 caps for the ltaly senior national team with 14 goals to his name. However, with this move, Balotelli will now hope to get a national team call-up ahead of the Gli Azzurri 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs in March this year.
