The 24-year-old winger of Ghanaian heritage is poised to stay put with his German top division outfit amid strong interest from the English elite side in this winter window

German-Ghanaian winger Jamie Leweling has rejected the advances of Premier League side Bournemouth, with the Cherries told ''I don't want to leave as I feel comfortable here,'' in an effort to land his signature in this January transfer window.

With the Dean Court outfit eager to replace their talismanic free-scoring Ghanaian wing-forward Antoine Semenyo with the signing of the former Union Berlin winger, the now owned VfB Stuttgart ace is not with the slightest interest to make a move to the English top-flight this winter as he is determined to stay put at the MHPArena beyond the current transfer window.

ln addressing the speculation linking him with a move away from the Die Roten, the ex-FC Nürnberg Youth man has told German newspaper Zeitungsverlag Waiblingen (ZVW) : ''The classic cliché is: I don't want to leave - and that's also true. We have something going on as a team, and I have something going on personally. I feel comfortable here. You could see today that it's not something that's bothering me.''

Leweling has so far proven to be a mainstay figure in manager Sebastian Hoeneß's setup this term having netted 6 times and assisted 7 in 25 games across all competitions in this current 2025/26 football season.

He remains unfit to represent Ghana on the international stage after playing for the Germany senior national team, with four caps to his name so far in his international career.
