The enterprising youngster picked up the injury during his side's 0-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on home soil after lasting for only 4 minutes as a second half substitute during the contest on Sunday.

This latest injury setback is set to mired his rapid progress as a now first team player under manager Tim Shultz - with the gaffer recently assuring him with much playing time in his set-up in the ongoing top-flight, telling EXPRESS.de: "He showed signs of his potential in some one-on-one situations. He was able to assert himself strongly in some situations. We know what the boy can do. We have seen that it still needs to improve in some areas. But that would also be bad if it weren't so. We will continue to build it. He will continue to get his assignments.”

He has so far figured in 6 league game appearances for FC Koln in the ongoing German Bundesliga 23/24 football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany U16, U18, U19 & U20 national youth teams.
