Ghana forward Felix Afena-Gyan has now linked up with the rest of Cremonese's pre-season squad in Italy, with the Grigiorossi's not seeking a summer transfer for the Ghanaian.
Despite having a torrid season last term and struggling to command starting berths, Afena-Gyan is looking to integrate himself back into Giovanni Stroppa's squad.
Manager Giovanni Stroppa is happy to keep Afena-Gyan in his squad ahead of the Serie B season and has welcomed the 21-year-old back into the fold.
Afena-Gyan played just eight matches, netting one goal in the recently ended campaign.
He is expected to play a part in the upcoming friendly against AS Giana Erminio, Torino, Serie C side's AC Trento 1921 and FC Lumezzane VGZ which is slated to come off on August 4 as they seek to build their fitness.
