Vision FC winger Emmanuel Essel have officially joined Finnish second-tier league side SJK Seinäjoki on a season-long loan deal.
The pacey winger's development will continue with a spell in Europe after completing his switch to the Finnish side.
Essel has been part of the Vision FC set-up since making his senior debut in the 2021-22 league season and played an integral role in the last campaign featuring twenty-five times, scoring three times and providing four assists in all competitions.
The 19-year-old becomes the third Vision player to join the Northern European club in the last two years after Terry Yegbe and Salim Yussif Giabo.
Vision FC signed a cooperation agreement with SJK in March this year and will see our best talents continue their development process in Finland through a well-structured player pathway program.
Essel made an instant impact on his debut after coming off the bench to provide an assist in his side's 2-2 away draw against Mikkelin Palloilijat on Saturday.
He is expected to play a significant role in SJK Akatemia's pursuit of top-flight qualification.
