Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari celebrated his first-ever Champions League goal for Crvena zvezda, but it couldn't prevent his side from a 3-1 defeat against Manchester City.

The 23-year-old made his mark just before half-time, giving Crvena zvezda the lead at the Etihad Stadium. This goal marked Bukari's fourth of the season and coincided with his 50th appearance for the club.

However, Manchester City mounted a formidable comeback in the second half, with two goals from Argentine striker Julian Alvarez and another from Rodri, securing a home victory.

Despite the setback, Osman Bukari expressed his confidence that Crvena zvezda would bounce back stronger in their upcoming group stage matches.

"Unfortunately, not the results we wanted but we will come back stronger! Thank y’all for the support!"

Crvena zvezda finds themselves in Group G, alongside Manchester City, RB Leipzig, and Young Boys, where they will look to regroup and put forth their best efforts in the remainder of the competition.
