Azerbaijani outfit Asta Mingachevir have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Jonah Attuquaye ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 25-year-old put pen to paper during the summer transfer window after parting ways with Berekum Chelsea, where he featured in the second half of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Attuquaye had previously returned to Ghana in January following a stint in Latvia with FK Auda, but his European journey now resumes with Mingachevir.
The pacey forward began his top-flight career with Berekum Chelsea before making a high-profile switch to Legon Cities in 2020, where he enjoyed three productive seasons.
He becomes the club’s second Ghanaian addition this summer, joining former Ashantigold midfielder Kadiri Mohammed in strengthening Mingachevir’s squad.
Attuquaye has already made his debut, featuring in the club’s season opener against Sabail FK on Friday, September 12, 2025.
