Ghanaian defender Jamaldeen Haruna delivered a spectacular goal as Raufoss clinched a decisive 4-1 victory over Egersund in the Norwegian 1. Divisjon on Monday afternoon.
The match at NAMMO Stadion saw Raufoss assert their dominance with sharp attacks, despite Egersund having more possession.
Oliver Rotihaug opened the scoring within two minutes with a header from a left-wing cross. Jakob Nyland Ørsahl extended Raufoss's lead in the 30th minute, converting a precise cross from Victor Fors.
The former Great Olympics defender's standout moment arrived midway through the second half when he unleashed a powerful shot from 16 meters out, leaving the Egersund goalkeeper with no chance. Erlend Hustad added a fourth goal for Raufoss with just over 15 minutes remaining.
Egersund managed a late consolation goal through Magnus Lankhof-Dahlby from a corner kick, but it was insufficient to alter the outcome.
