Ghanaian marksman Ropapa Mensah was on the scoresheet as Chattanooga Red Wolves SC settled for a 2-2 draw against Greenville Triumph SC in a thrilling USL League match at Tennessee's CHI Memorial Stadium.
Chattanooga took a commanding lead in the 10th minute through Jonathan Filipe, before Ropapa Mensah added his stunner in the 28th minute, scoring his eleventh goal of the season.
The Red Wolves comfortable lead was, however, obliterated in 26 minutes with two goals coming through for Greenville mid in the second half.
Both teams huffed and puffed as their backline remained resolute when called to action as the two side's settled for a draw.
Chattanooga will conclude their 2023 season on the road as they take on Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC on Saturday, October 14th in Windsor, Colorado.
