Enterprising Ghanaian winger, Ernest Nuamah is filled with exhilaration after nicking his much-awaited debut goal for giants Lyon in their rip-roaring 3-3 draw against Lorient in the French Ligue 1 fixture on Sunday.
On a day where youthful mastery was in full force, Nuamah opened his goal-scoring account for Les Gones in his fifth outing for his new club, firing a cartridge-like shot home after Lorient failed to clear their lines properly which the ball fell into the 19-year-old's path.
"Just getting started. Although we didn’t get the results, every game is a step forward to find growth and unity," he wrote on X. "Let’s keep pushing forward to bounce back stronger.
