Ghanaian right-back Christopher Nakai Nettey has completed a move to Zimbabwean giants Dynamos FC, aiming to strengthen their defence ahead of a challenging season, including a return to the CAF Confederation Cup.

The 27-year-old, best known for his key role in Asante Kotoko’s 2021/22 title-winning campaign, has already featured in the club’s starting lineup, adding experience and leadership to a squad undergoing rebuilding.

Nettey’s career includes spells with Accra Great Olympics and Nations FC, as well as a brief stint in the Futsal Premier League with Blessed Kickers FC to maintain match fitness while seeking opportunities abroad.

Having earned his Black Stars debut in 2020 during AFCON qualifiers, Nettey’s move to Dynamos is seen as a chance to revive his international prospects while making an immediate impact in Zimbabwe.
