Samuel Obeng emerged the hero for Albacete Balompié with a late strike to secure a thrilling comeback victory over UD Las Palmas in the Segunda División.
Introduced with just 13 minutes remaining, the former Ghana U23 forward made an instant impact, showing sharp control inside the box before firing a powerful left-footed finish to complete the turnaround.
Albacete had trailed 1-0 following a first-half goal from Taisei Miyashiro, but rallied late on. Jefte Betancor equalised from the penalty spot before Obeng delivered the decisive blow.
The goal—his third of the season—was also his first for Albacete since joining from AD Ceuta FC in the winter transfer window.
The victory lifts Albacete to 14th place and ends a five-match winless run, with Obeng quickly establishing himself as an important figure since his January arrival.
