Former Real Tamale United (RTU) midfielder David Sandan Abagna has signed for Moldovan Super League club Petrocub Hîncești.
The former Black Galaxies star whose arrival is a major boost for the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led club is joining on loan from Sudanese heavyweight Al Hilal for the rest of the season.
Abagna, who is a consistent performer, immediately made his debut for his new club after climbing off the bench to replace Corneliu Cotogoi in their 5-0 win over Balti in the Moldovan top tier league.
Announcing the arrival of the midfielder, the club said: "David Abagna made his debut for Petrocub in the match of the first stage of the second phase with CSF Balti. David was born on 9/09/1998. He is developing as a central midfielder and was loaned for a year from Al Hilal (Sudan). He ticked 4 matches for the national team of Ghana."
Abagna will be the third Ghanaian in the fold of Pretrocub, joining compatriots Seidu Bassit and Razak Abalora.
