Ghanaian striker Abdul-Aziz Yakubu has become a cult hero since moving to China in March this year.
Yakubu played a key role in Wuhan Three Towns 3-1 victory over Dalian Professional FC as he got off to a flying start in the round 28 game of the current season on Friday.
In the 23rd minute mark, Yakubu broke the deadlock of the match as he converted from the spot kick - which goalkeeper Yan Wu was left helpless in post.
The away team kept opening fire and got their second goal when Brazilian midfielder Davidson notched eight minutes later to make it 2-0.
Central African Republic forward Cesar Manzoki scored a 42nd minute consolation for the home team but defender Ji-Su Park netted Wuhan's third goal to seal the victory for his side.
The Rio-Ave-owned goal poacher is proving that the Chinese Super League is not a graveyard for footballers as he has notched 12 goals in all competitions.
