Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo continued his scintillating performance for IF Elfsborg with his 12th goal of the season against IFK Norrköping in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Thursday evening.
Ten-man IF Elfsborg were held by IFK Norrköping to a 2-2 home draw in their match-week 23 encounter at the Boraas Arena.
Baidoo opened the scoring for the Yellow and Black lads with a stupendous strike in the 11th minute of the game.
However, IF Elfsborg were reduced to ten men six minutes after the opener when Ibrahim Buhari was given a straight red card for a horrible tackle.
IFK Norrköping returned from the break to stage an intense pressure on the hosts to restore the parity through Carl Björk in the 55th minute.
Swedish international Moberg Karlsson made it 2-1 for the visitors in the 63rd minute but a it was equalized ten minutes later by Timothy Ouma.
Baidoo and his compatriot Terry Yegbe lasted for 68 minutes while 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Bolma came on in the 90th minute for IFK Norrköping.
Baidoo has been a standout performer this season, with nine goals and four assists in 22 league games, and three goals with three assists in eight UEFA Europa League qualifiers.
