Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo scored his tenth goal of the season for IF Elfsborg in their emphatic 3-1 home win over IFK Goteborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday.
Baidoo, who has been a top performer for the Black and Yellow lads since last season, opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, connecting expertly with a pass from Ahmed Qasem.
Danish international Emil Holten doubled their lead in the 58th minute, further solidifying Elfsborg's advantage.
Qasem, who had earlier assisted Baidoo, capped off the scoring with a third goal, ensuring a comfortable victory for the home side.
The former Ghana U20 star lasted for 72 minutes with his compatriot Jalal Abdulai and Terry Yegbe, tasting minutes in IF Elfsborg's home win at Boras Arena.
Baidoo has netted 10 goals and provided seven assists in 26 appearances for IF Elfsborg across all competitions this season so far.
