The ltalian top-flight outfit are reportedly shooting admiring glances at the teenage sensation in a bid to secure his signature from the second tier campaigners this summer
Serie A club Genoa are eyeing the services of Ghanaian starlet Samuel Wiafe from Serie B club Modena ahead of the summer transfer window, an emerging report from the ltalian media has claimed.
The 17-year-old budding midfielder saw his stellar outings with the U19 setup being recognized by the man in charge of the dugout at the Stadio Alberto Braglia, Andrea Sottil, as he made him savour first-team football on nine occasions in this just ended campaign.

However, his impressive performances have gone unnoticed, with the Red and Blues now expressing concrete interest in his services ahead of the start of the 2026/27 football season.
According to ltalian tabloid newspaper Sportmediaset, the Ghana-prospect budding star is currently being courted by Genoa and could make a move for his signature in the upcoming summer window to bolster their academy system with his acquisition next season.

Wiafe, who signed his first professional contract with Modena on January 8, 2026, took in 29 appearances by racking up 7 goals and setting up another 4 across all competitions in this just concluded campaign.
Given his talent as a promising wonderkid, Wiafe could be a sure bet for Ghana on the international stage in the near future despite playing for the ltaly U17 national youth team.
