The 24-year-old has exercised a contractually agreed exit clause at his own request and is moving to the 3. Liga.''
Sporting director Lutz Siebrecht expressed his gratitude to the 24-year-old after spending time together in the lower division contest for the 2024-25 campaign.
''Nyame has developed outstandingly with us this season. We will miss him and his character not only on the pitch, but also off it. We would have preferred to shape the future of the Kickers with him rather than without him. Nevertheless, we wish Nyame all the best in his new challenge.''
Before parting ways with The Blues, Nyamekye featured in 22 games by scoring and assisting once for them across all competitions in the just ended football season.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Tübingen-born defender still remains fit to switch nationality allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage.
