Die Rothosen have lured the signature of the sensational teenager of Ghanaian parentage from the fifth-tier outfit for their academy system ahead of the forthcoming transfer window
German-born Ghanaian teenage defender Gestar Kwadwo has completed his transfer switch from German Oberliga Hamburg club SC Victoria Hamburg to Bundesliga side Hamburger SV, the club have announced.
The budding star, who caught the eyes of those in charge of recruitment at the Volksparkstadion, has now been recruited by them and has been slated for the HSV U17 setup for the 2026-27 football season.
The capturing of the rising star was announced on the micro-blogging platforms via Hamburger SV Young Talents as the 16-year-old is set to begin life at the German elite division outfit starting from their academy youth ranks until he graduates to the first team in the not too distant future.
To be able to cool high tempters at SC Victoria Hamburg over the loss of their highly-rated youth star, Hamburger SV would be required to pay a substantial fee over his training development.
Given his talent as a budding wonderkid, Kwadwo could become a precious asset for the Ghana national football team at the senior level as he remains eligible to switch nationality and play for the African powerhouse on the international stage.
