Baba Rahman has shown he is fully ready for the new Greek Super League season which kicks off on 17 August 2024.
The Ghanaian defender scored PAOK's only goal of the match as they were shellacked 3-1 by Belgian side Genk in a pre-season friendly.
Rahman was instrumental in the match as he made swift runs on the left flanks for the White-Blacks, managing to pull a goal back in the 45+4' minute after he was set up by Despodov to make it 2-1.
However, Genk scored the third through Swiss forward Andi Zeqiri to complete the scoring in the 85th minute.
PAOK has now lost four and won just one of their five pre-season friendly games.
Răzvan Lucescu is convinced that Baba Rahman would play a key role in their quest to defend the league title in the new season.
