Ghanaian striker Kwasi Poku scored twice in the Canadian Premier League as Forge FC beat HFX Wanderers 3-0 on Saturday.
Just 15 minutes into the match the Hammers found the back of the net through Kwasi Poku.
The Canadian born Ghanaian capitalized on a set piece to double Forge FC's lead in the 28th minute
His compatriot Nana Opoku Ampomah applied pressure on HFX Wanderers in the 69th minute - just outside the box, slotting home his shot leaving keeper Yann Fillion helpless as Forge cruised to a 3-0 victory.
Poku has been in terrific form this season, notching eight goals and managing two assists in 15 games. Meanwhile his compatriot Ampomah has scored once and provided one assist in five games.
The win at the Tim Hortons Field has moved Forge FC to the 3rd position on the 2024 Canadian Premier League log.
