Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh has completed a permanent transfer to Slovenian top-flight club NK Maribor, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old joins from French side FC Metz, where he spent one season. Tetteh, who has previously played for Hull City, Standard Liège, Sparta Prague, and Yeni Malatyaspor, is expected to bring experience and physical presence to Maribor’s attacking line.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.

“This time he will not be with us on loan, but as a full member. Mission successful, after great efforts of the club management Benjamin Tetteh is returning to the People's Garden in a transfer from Metz,” a statement from the club read. “He signed a two-year contract, jersey with no. The 30 got a new/old owner.”
Tetteh has earned multiple caps for Ghana and featured at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
His move to Maribor marks a new chapter in a career that has seen spells across Belgium, England, Turkey, Czech Republic, and France.
