Ghanaian striker Abdul Aziz Yakubu registered his first-ever league goal to rescue Wuhan Three Towns from away loss to Henan Songshan in the Chinese Super League on Tuesday afternoon.

Wuhan Three Towns needed a late goal from the Tamale-born attacker to secure a 1-1 draw against Henan Songshan at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium.

 
Aziz Yakubu climbed off the bench to snatch an important equalizer for the visitors in the dying embers of the game after Zichang Huang had opened the score for Henan Songshan in the 20th minute 
 
The Ghanaian international, who is currently on a season-long loan deal at Wuhan Three Towns from Portuguese side Rio Ave, was introduced on the 65th minute of the game.
 
Aziz Yakubu has made three appearances for Wuhan Three Towns in the ongoing season.
