The former Dreams FC winger has completed a sensational switch to the Letna Stadion outfit until the summer of 2025.

Czech First League outfit FC Trinity Zlin has announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Johnson Oppong Owusu on a free transfer in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has joined the cobblers lads on a three-year deal after ending his five-year stay at Portuguese side CS Maritimo last month.

The club's official statement reads “The management of the Zlín club has concluded negotiations on the role of the 24-year-old winger. The Ghanaian signed a 3-year contract with Zlín Letná.”

The nimble footed winger will be joining the club's preseason exercise this evening as they prepare for the upcoming season.

"I know about Zlín that it gives space to young players and develops them. That's why I decided to be part of that club. I can't wait for the season to start in earnest," Oppong Owusu told the club's official website after sealing the move.

Oppong Owusu left the shores of Ghana to join Portuguese giants SC Braga after Dreams FC debut campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight league in 2016.

He left SC Braga to join CS Maritimo on a five-year contract but failed to break into the club's senior team.

Oppong Owusu made 50 appearances for the CS Maritimo U23 side in all competitions where he scored eight goals and provided five assists.
