Ghanaian midfielder Joseph Paintsil grabbed an assist as his side Genk wrecked Sporting Charleroi 4-1 in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Friday night football.
Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu put-up a headline grabbing display as he scored all four goals for the Smurfs at the Luminus Arena.
Paintsil took advantage of sleepy Charleroi defense to assist Genk's third goal by firing a through pass to the deadly Nigerian goal wizard Onuachu, who wasted no time to fire home.
Charleroi lacked the creativity to break down a resolute Genk side, whose solid midfield spent a large chunk pressing, hunting for more goals which later panned out successfully as Onuachu scored his fourth in injury time.
Paintsil's all-round play has been amazing, ever since he made his full debut against Waasland-Beveren four years ago.
The 24-year-old who has been included in Ghana's 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 World Cup has six goals and five assists in all competitions this season.
