Ghanaian attacking midfielder Kwame Afriyie Adubofour Poku was on target again to power Peterborough United to a 2-1 victory over Oxford United in the English League One on Saturday afternoon.

First-half goals from Jack Taylor and Kwame Poku set Peterborough up for a win against ten-man Oxford United in their match-week 15 clash at the Kassam Stadium.

Irish midfielder Taylor opened the score for the visitors after tapping in Ephron Mason-Clark's left-wing cross in the seventh minute.
 
Poku, 21, doubled the lead for Peterborough United on the 31st minute when Mason-Clark kept an attack alive by feeding Poku, who shot low past Simon Eastwood.
 
Billy Bodin, who had been unlucky with a goal disallowed for offside and a header against a post, pulled one back for the U's on the 52nd minute of the game.
 
The 21-year-old was substituted by on-loan Newcastle Uniteddefender Kelland Watts after enjoying 80 minutes.
 
Poku has scored two goals and provided two assists in his 10 appearances for Peterborough United in all competitions this season so far.
 
The English-born of Ghanaian earned his debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana in 2021 but he is yet to make an appearance for the West African nation.
