Ghana defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh registered his first goal of the season to power Halmstad BK to a slim home victory over BK Hacken in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday.
A first half goal from the 31-year-old right-back aided Halmstad BK to secure a 1-0 win over BK Hacken in the match-week seven fixture at the Orjans Vall Stadium.
The German-born of Ghanaian descent snatched all the needed points for the Blue and Black lads with a brilliant header on the 17th minute of the game.
He was in action with Thomas Boakye for Halmstad BK.
Ofosu-Ayeh, who has made seven appearances for Halmstad BK this season, capped for the senior national team of Ghana in an international friendly against Canada in 2015.
