Abdul Wahab Hanan, a Ghanaian midfielder, has been named the best player of the 2022-23 season at LGC Moncarapachense, a Portuguese club, due to his remarkable contribution.
Hanan, who is 24 years old, has been a key player for Moncarapachense in the Portuguese League 3 this season since joining at the beginning of the campaign.
He moved to the Green and White team from SC Covilha to revive his career after suffering a serious injury that kept him out for almost a year.
Hanan made 24 appearances in all competitions for Moncarapachense, scoring one goal in the process.
He scored the team's only goal in the last game of the season against Academica Coimbra and was named man of the match.
In addition, Hanan has previously played for the Egyptian Premier League club, El-Entag El-Harby.
