Black Stars and RC Lens star Salis Abdul Samed has named the best Central midfielder of the 2022/23 French Ligue 1 by Get French Football News (GFFN).
The 22 year old joined RC Lens prior to the start of the season after impressing in his debut Ligue 1 campaign with Clermont Foot in 2022.
He's been an integral figure of the team since his arrival and has now established himself as a mainstay and one of the fans favourite at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
The mercurial midfielder made 35 appearances in all competitions with a goal and assist to his belt marking a very great first season for him at Lens.
The Gold and Bloods are currently lurking on the second position with 78 points, and are six points behind leaders PSG.
He will hope to make the Black Stars squad for next month's AFCON qualifier against Madagascar and Central African Republic.
