Ghanaian forward Duada Mohammed scored a late goal to rescue CD Tenerife from a defeat in the Spanish La Liga 2 on Friday evening.
CD Tenerife managed to record a 1-1 away draw with Real Zaragoza in the match-week 42 fixture of the 2022/23 La Liga 2 season campaign.
After lack of goals in the first half, Real Zaragoza opened the score on the 50th minute through a strike from Victor Mollejo.
Late in the game when CD Tenerife appeared to be on the brink of defeat, Dauda Mohammed saved the side with a fine goal in the 88th minute.
That goal forced the match to end in a 1-1 draw as both teams picked a point at full-time.
With his goal today, Dauda Mohammed has now scored five goals and provided two assists in the Spanish La Liga 2 this season.
Mohammed earlier this week signed a three-year contract with CD Tenerife after ending his six-year stay at Belgian Jupilier Pro League side RSC Anderlecht.
