The Ghana star played his first match after being ruled out of the World Cup as he played full throttle for the Barralet in their Copa del Rey win against Real Unión Club at the Stadium Gal in Irun.
Ghana midfielder Iddrisu Baba played his first match after recovering from an injury setback during Real Mallorca’s 1-0 win over third tier side Real Unión Club in a Copa del Rey match on Tuesday.
Baba started and lasted the full 90 minutes of the game that Javier Aguirre’ side won courtesy of a goal from Spanish right-winger Dani Rodríguez in the 20th minute.
Baba, 26, has made 11 appearances in the La Liga and has featured ones in the Copa del Rey this season while accruing 637 match minutes and his return is a boost to Aguirre ahead of their La Liga match against Getafe on December 30.
