Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil scored to aid KRC Genk to progress to the last 8 of the Belgian Cup on Wednesday evening.
KRC Genk are through to the next round of the competition following their 1-0 win over RSC Anderlecht at the Cegeka Arena.
Paintsil secured the winner for KRC Genk during the extra-time after the fixture had failed to produce any goal in regulation time.
The 24-year-old brilliantly powered the Blue and White lads to victory with a fine strike on the 95th minute of the game.
He enjoyed the entire duration of the game and won the man of the match award.
Paintsil, who missed Ghana's final squad for the 2022 World Cup, has scored seven (7) goals and provided 8 assists in his 16 appearances for KRC Genk in all competitions this season so far.
