Ghanaian attacker Bernard Tekpetey's future at Bulgarian powerhouse Ludogorets seems to be coming to an end as he is expected to leave during the January winter transfer window.

The exciting goal sniffer is likely to be made available for transfer in the coming days after three seasons with Ludogorets, in which he has so far scored 31 goals.

Tekpetey's most realistic option currently is to leave Ludogorets, showing his readiness for stern competition elsewhere.

Speaking to Asempa FM the former Schalke 04 striker said: “I can’t say I will stay at Ludogorets because I am a player who always wants competition. We are working and looking forward to securing a move from the club in the January transfer window.

"But if I’m unable to leave, I will help the team to fight to play in the Champions League at the end."

Although he missed out on Ghana's 27-man roster for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, Tekpetey remains focused as he aims to secure a bumper deal to continue to develop as a top player.
